What is Block Header?

We know that the block height is actually the 'number of the block.' For details, see What is the block height? Many blocks make up the blockchain. A block may have a block size and a block number. Block header, transaction counter, and variable transaction composition. So what is a block header? How to search a block header? The block header includes three sets of data:

• The data of the hash value of the parent block. In the blockchain, each block has the hash value of the previous block, and the previous block is called the parent block of the current block. * Mining difficulty value, block timestamp and nonce. The nonce is similar to the verification code, and the nonce is different for different blocks. This group of data records content related to mining. * Merkle roots. The blockchain is called a chain because its structure is a data structure connected in an orderly manner from back to front. The hash value of the parent block allows this data to be connected from back to front in an orderly manner. We call the previous block of the current block the parent block, and the corresponding next block is the child block. Only one block is special. It has no parent block. This block is called the founding block.
